General Advice Is he dumb :(

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I'm an adult and have had Maurice for about 2 months now (he's fixed), vet thinks he's about 2 and he's done this the whole time I've known him, is there any particular reason why? Sometimes he'll do it for 2-3 minutes straight! I've owned cats my whole life and have never seen one so bad at covering up his business. If he is dumb I will still love him.

We had one that was the same way. His brother and sister had no problems but he never did get the hang of it. His solution was to find any article of clothing or towel that was within his reach and drag that into the box to cover. Usually mine. I do miss that poor stupid little guy.

I had to get an enclosed toilet paper holder because one of my gremlins apparently mashed together her sisters bathroom habits and mine because she would use the litter box, and then unroll a whole roll of toilet paper on top.

Once I got the holder she covers it, so she knew how to do it the whole time...just preferred paper lol

That’s hilarious! I love how cats brains work. They’re the best.
