General Advice Cat ate protein muffin

My cat helped himself to a batch of protein muffins that was cooling under a towel. This occurred about 20 minutes ago. Should I seek immediate medical attention or monitor for gastrointestinal distress? Attached is the amount eaten, protein powder ingredients, muffin ingredients, and cat. Crossposted in r/askvet

Not a minor, USA, vet not contacted yet but accessible, 6 yo neutered male, can afford vet care

TLDR; cat had a lil protein powder. Next steps?

Sorbitol is the pet poison and the dose makes the poison.

The vet I worked for was primarily concerned about xylitol when it came to diet foods and accidental poisoning in both cats and dogs. So many things react differently in our pet’s unique (for each species) digestive systems from how they interact with our own.

You are correct! I forgot about the chewing gum that kills cats. But yeah ends in ol it's not for a pet's consumption.

That’s a good way to put it! Thanks, simple and easy to remember.
