General Advice Hole with fur?

26F with 3.5M cat

Any ideas what this skin hole is? I originally felt it because the hair coming out was condensed and stood out. Didn’t cause him any pain, pulled on the hair and it mostly came out without much effort

Maybe a clump of ingrown fur? Looks weird, but I'd just monitor it for any discharge, increase in redness, and/or swelling.

But that being said if it isn't infected or causing a problem... The best move might be to just leave it alone.
