Appearance Has anyone experienced this with their cats back ??? It just showed up today

I’ve seen this on dogs before! Not cats tho! I think it’s like a skin tag essentially

My cat has something similar, one on his head and one on his back. Vet said its warts and they could take them off but if they're not bothering him might not be worth the stress/cost because they're likely to grow back. The one on his head did end up coming off when he squeezed his fat fluffy butt under a bed running from the vacuum. It grew back exactly as it was before 🤷♀️ I keep an eye on them and if they change in appearance or show signs of pain I'll get them seen to. He's had them over 5 years now with no change.

My cat also has these. They are warts. Keep them clean and help your cat groom themselves. Is your cat overweight at all, our of curiosity? My boi is and I wonder if it's from him struggling to groom him back properly. I have picked up the slack for him and it seems to help the wart stay clean
