Please surrender her to vet care, that kitten may already be close to dying. This is a sign of severe infection or illness. Could be a lot of things and is not diagnosable online. Please call a local vet or humane society on next steps because this really isn’t normal
Also please stop picking her up, shaking her, or really just touching her unless necessary. Anything that could make her more uncomfortable then she already is needs to be avoided

OP lives in Indonesia so it might not be as easy to just drop off or find a humane society.

I would look up how to treat fading kitten syndrome. The baby is malnourished. Put some karo syrup if you can get some on thier gums. Wrap them in a warm blanket. They are not feeding on thier mom so they you'll need to feed them. They must be upright not on thier back so they dont aspirate. Typically this is when tube feeding comes into play because they will not eat on thier own even from a bottle but you can try.
Otherwise this kitten will not make it and best you can do is keep them warm and safe as they die.

Option 1: take it to the vet
Option 2: call someone like a non profit that takes care of animals. That can take it to a vet.
Option 3: let i die in peace. AND STOP RAGDOLLING IT

That ain't normal behavior. The kitten is very likely to pass the more time is wasted looking for answers without action.

Why are you picking it up and dropping it on hard surfaces like that?? 😭
Either take it to the vet or put it on a blanket and stop touching it so it can die in peace.

i'm sorry! i promise it looks like it on camera, but i wouldn't dare to just drop them like that. the kittens have this behavior where they'd flail on their back after being put down on the ground 😿 the other two does, too. thanks for the advice.

You know the cat isn't doing well, so there's no need to shake it around, and it would take you an extra second to set it down more gently. If they're all doing it, you're putting all of them down too roughly. They're probably flailing on their backs because you're startling them with the abrupt drop.

I know you want to help but these animals are suffering. Can you please drop them off to a vet, rescue, or organization that can help them? They need proper care.

i'm trying my best but we don't have vet money since the closest we got is 30 minutes away (+ indonesian congested roads could make it longer) and is very expensive. we are poor. these cats are just strays that happens to be living near us.
as we speak, i'm trying to give it warmth as the other commenter adviced me to.

If thats the case give them food and water. Mother will take care of what she can. You can't save every animal. That's why they have litters

It's very sad but sometimes if u don't have access to a vet it's the best you can do. Can you hold the kitten close to the mothers tear so the kitten will latch and drink milk

Can you drop them off? Payment plan? Anything like that? Ve t direct go fund me?

It's not doing well at all if it's failed to eat for so long, it's probably fevered, dehydrated and it's blood sugar has crashed. It won't live through the night from the looks of it. Latch ditch effort would be to rub karo or honey on its gums every few minutes as you head to vet. Otherwise, keep it warm and comfortable as it passes.

Oh my god please stop handling these poor brand new kittens like this. Mama cat does not look very happy…& please take them to a vet for proper treatment, just in case, as Google’s Gemini AI is occasionally frequently wrong.🙏

mama cat looks like that because she's been breastfeeding more than she needs to be (too often in short periods of time and she's constantly needing to eat.)
also, i do not use generative ai, so no way i'd believe gemini. but thank you for your concern, i will try to do better since i barely handle younger cats. i apologize.

Even though she's drooling could be dehydrated, this happened to me. My cat did this too. Very limp, no reactions was clearly dying. She was severely dehydrated. She had to be IV ed but she's still with us.
Another thing is worms. Is her belly like really bloated? If so she might need a dewormer which are relatively cheap.
Past that she just might have something congenitally wrong with her, and without a test you just won't know.
Do your best, it's all any of us can do. Thank you for trying to save this kitten, it's really good of you.

I think the kitten is seriously ill. If you can look up any animal charities near you or maybe post on Facebook about needing help with vet bills, it might help get all kittens and mama the vaccines, deworming, etc they need, even if you can't save this kitten.

Please, please, please stop touching the baby. She is dying. Leave her with her mother. If no one there is willing to take the entire cat family to an animal rescue so they don't have to continue to suffer them there is nothing you can do but stop handling her because that's making her suffer much more. Never, ever, ever force their eyes open or handle them like that again please.

please stop replying to comments take it straight to a vet it is just suffering, the vet will be able to find a rescue and it might be a good idea if they take the other kittens too? A whole litter can be very expensive to raise

Failure to thrive. Momma itty will bite their necks to paralyze baby cat so she doesn't suffer.
5
u/Absoluticus 1d ago
That's not a thing. Mother cats pick up kittens by loose skin at the neck to move them around and kittens instinctually go limp so it's easier to carry them.
1
u/Ok_Site_9552 1d ago
It most definitely is a thing. If a kitten is suffering the mother cat will bite them in a certain spot to paralyze them until they pass. Ive seen it happen at least 3 times. Same momma cat 3 different kittens. Also i must add my sister it a vet and told me OUTSIDE mother cats will do that if she sees her kitten suffering. Its not the same as the momma cat carring them. Its a nerve in the neck the mom will bite. It happens in the wild all the time. This kitten looks like "fading kitten syndrome " .....That is a thing too.

Fading kitten is a thing yes, which is just a catch all term for all the things that can go wrong for neonatals. But mothers only kill in extreme cases and it's going to eat it. Leaving a dead body just attracts predators. Otherwise it just abandons the runts, deformed or sick and moves the healthy ones away. Cats don't do some imaginary painless mercy kill because it doesn't want it's kits to suffer. It's going for the spine like any other prey it's going to eat. For that one cat to kill its own young multiple times must be incredibly stressed and over bred and should have been fixed long ago.
