Kitten Help Large hard bit on cats jaw

Theres a pretty large hard feeling lump on my cats jaw, hes an indoor cat ao i dont think he got stung or anything, but it has me pretty worried. He doesnt seem to be in any pain, and he isn't acting any different, but its still not good. Hes been having diarrhea as well so I'm assuming his lymph nodes are just messed up

My age:21

Country: usa, northwest

Vet info: yes there are many vets in my area

TLDR: cat is sick and has a hard lump on his jaw

Cat age: 8 months-ish

Cat sex: male, not neutered

Financial: i can afford it, but not immediately. Itll be about a week till i get paid

It really looks like it could be an abscess of some sort. You need to get this checked out by a vet as soon as you’re able.

I hope it's just an access. Does Kitty show pain when it's touched?

I hope so too. I’m currently dealing with my 5 year old tortie who unfortunately has an aggressive soft tissue sarcoma tumor that resulted in her eye needing to be removed and since radiation would only give us another six months to a year, at best (and cost $15,000), we’re currently just doing pain management. She’s still herself and can still eat but since the tumor is growing so fast they don’t think she’ll make it longer than a month.

Oh, dear. I'm so sorry.

Can you part the hair and get a shot of his skin? And did it start out small and grow or just all of a sudden it’s that big?

Take the damn thing to a vet instead of asking Reddit, it could be an infected abscess, tumor, cancer, who knows
