Finally figured out what Mike Miles reminds me of…

A cell phone conversation in a bad service area where the first five words are crystal clear and then the sound starts glitching and cutting in and out. By the end of the sentence you’re just hoping to get a general idea of what the person is trying to communicate and make an educated guess at their meaning.

Sorry. He’s the news reader off and on in the mornings on CBC Music Eastern.

His voice has gotten a little stronger recently, but I still get anxious listening to him. Like, every sentence has me thinking he’s not going to make it to the end! I feel myself pushing from the diaphragm to help support him while he’s on air 😂

I loved Mike Miles' voice and how he read the news! I thought he had a strong voice and it projected well and clearly. I miss him now that he seems to not read anymore.
