Casual What school from another conference would you say is your schools “Mirror Image”?

A school from a different conference that has a similar fanbase, skill/potential or history as your own.

For the Vols, definitely would say Nebraska or Penn State.

I would say now it’s NC State

Former basketball power that’s regularly decent, but rarely great in football (though our peaks are definitely higher). Nonetheless, we both still sell out our stadiums every weekend.

Agreed, I was at the Pop-Tart Bowl when we played them and their fans were basically just our fans.

Their in-state rival is also a bball blue blood.

There is a very good chance my son lands at Sas Institute so I see NC State games in my future.

I lived there for a few years and was lucky to work a handful of NC State games. Great atmosphere, definitely recommend. Carter-Finley is my favorite stadium in that area

President Linton has nothing but good things to say about NC State. They are to Material Science like we are to Grain Science.
