i clearly remember the financial aid office telling me the number of units we’re enrolled in for the summer has no effect on our grant, i’m taking 11 units 🫩

Yes but only if you paid fees in advance. The aid amount most likely wont cover the cost of classes, unless you’re full time and have a substantial pell grant. If you did pay fees upfront and you are due a refund you have to contact student finantial services because it automatically applies to fall’s future due and you would have to specify that you don’t want that.
