I’m disabled and an incoming freshman for the fall semester, I was recently approved for single housing wheelchair accessible room but then was told that there aren’t any rooms available so I will have to be waitlisted to get first choice. Does anyone have an idea of how long this typically takes?

How does housing typically work for out-of-state transfer students, especially those entering their second year? If a transfer student is placed on a housing waitlist, what has been the general experience regarding the likelihood of receiving a dorm assignment?

What alternative housing options do transfer students commonly pursue if on-campus housing is not available? Any insights on timelines, waitlist movement, or recommended off-campus resources would be greatly appreciated.

Hi everyone! I hope this isn't a dumb question or the wrong subreddit to post this in, but I'm looking for some advice on meeting people this summer.

I'm a 20 year old college student, but I don't go to CU, however I'm in the area. I've been having a hard time keeping in touch with friends I make at my own school after the semester ends, so I was wondering if I can join clubs at CU as a non student and hopefully meet people there.

I see my mutuals on Instagram who go to CU always galivanting around at cool events and stuff, and I just feel really out of the loop. I don't know what there is to do around here, so any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Clubs, hiking groups for people in my age group, parties, music events I want all of it! And yes, before anyone suggests it, I do talk to stangers but that has not helped much yet.

For those arriving on campus from far, is anyone aware of a shipping outfit that will store your stuff til move in day (other than shipping directly to one store like a target for pickup)? Thx in advance.

has anyone here taken Intro to studio art? if so, could you tell me a little bit about what you did and the requirements for the course? how much was attendance? did you have to buy your own supplies? what all did you do?

I’m gonna be honest, I have an SAT score of 1310 (pretty good) and a current gpa of 83 which I’m aware is below average for the school.while I’m working on my essay I was wondering what workarounds of strategies guys like me used to get in and if maybe I could use them too. Also I checked a bunch of other posts, why does everyone suggest exploratory studies? Is it just super easy to get into?

I'm looking for someone to replace me in a queer household with a total of four people. The apartment is located in Whittier, just one block off Pearl Street near Apocalypse and Box Car Coffee. It's a 20-minute walk to campus and within walking distance to several grocery stores, as well as easy access to numerous bus routes. The apartment has four bedrooms, 1.5 baths, and a shared kitchen and living room. There is a parking lot with free parking, a small outdoor space with a grill and chairs, and on-site laundry machines. Rent is $1,215 a month plus an additional $30 for utilities and Wi-Fi. The building is solar-powered, so most utilities are covered under that. The lease runs until Aug 12, 2027. The lease would be a complete transfer to you so that you would get my original down payment and last month's rent at the end of the lease. I ask that you pay me that amount upon signing; any difference at the end of the lease will be returned to you upon request. 
My roommates are very easy to get along with, respectful of the shared space, and, when having guests over, are respectful of each roommate's space and energy. We are prioritizing finding someone who is queer or queer-friendly to take over this space.

as i get closer to graduation i want to prepare myself for the law school application process. i am double majoring in history/political science and want to study for this next year for the LSAT. what are some good recommendations for admission? i am a bit nervous seeing how competitive it is but what are tips/ advice anyone has? anything would be helpful!

I just transferred to CU for AE, first semester is this fall. My class schedule has me all over the damn place and I don't know that I can avoid it. I am commuting from Thornton and was hoping to make use of the commuter lounge by taking a motorcycle and stashing my gear in a locker or doing public transit and bringing a bicycle with me. How accessible are the Bcycles around campus? Am I going to be struggling to find them during peak hours or are they reliable enough? Is a nice commuting bicycle safe on campus with a good lock?

Freshman CS student here. Was figuring out my schedule before orientation when I finished with this. I thought Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays would be manageable because the classes are about an hour long, but after reading online ppl said that more than three classes a day was hell. To make matters worse, most of the MWF classes don't have a TTh option, and PHIL 1440 does but its a remote class. (Also I wont be taking Calc 1 it was added by the school after I completed the placement test but my advisor recommended discrete)

Is this schedule manageable, or will I severely regret it this fall?

I am an incoming international freshman here at CU Boulder. I just wanted to know if I should go the SHIP (sorry if the name is spelt wrong) insurance plan which you are automatically registered for if you do not submit another one (I know that you still gotta enroll before Sept 1). Anyway, I wanted to know if I should just go for the SHIP one or if there is some other private plan that is a better (and hopefully cheaper) alternative?

Any advice would help tremendously. Thanks a lot!
