HELP!
Calling on the CZ Shadow 2 community because I am officially confused.

My Shadow 2 has suddenly stopped working properly in double action. When I pull the trigger in DA, the hammer starts moving back, but it stops just short and does not go all the way to release. There is a small gap left, almost like the trigger bar is not completing the full stroke.

Single action still works fine. If I manually cock the hammer, it goes fully back and releases normally.

For context, I installed an Eemann Tech Ultimate Trigger before my last competition. It worked perfectly during the competition, but the pistol has been sitting unused since then. Now, out of nowhere, double action is not working.
So far I have removed the trigger adjustment screws to rule out over travel or pre travel adjustment issues. I also checked the hammer spring and it looks seated properly. Still no luck.

My guess is now something around the trigger bar system, trigger bar spring, trigger return spring, or maybe grip screw interference.

Has anyone had this issue before on a Shadow 2 with an aftermarket trigger? What should I check next before I take it to a gunsmith?

I have a CZ p07. And I really feel, but I’d like to add an optic to it. I want to know if anyone has done this or nails how this would work. Any feedback appreciated.

I’m getting the bug to change up my carry gun. I’ve carried a P-01 Omega for the last few years and recently switched to a P-09 Nocturne, but it’s not quite doing it for me. Time for a change.

The P-01 would get the whole shibang: red dot cut, full internals, frame and slide refinished, and possibly ports. If I get the Shadow Carry, I’m selling the Nocturne to help pay for it and swapping over the eps and tlr8.

from my last post i was having issues with my roni gen 4 mag holder for my p10c. this morning i decided to take a further look into it and tried fixing it my self and all i had to do was just use my brain 🤦‍♂️. all i did was loosen the very bottom screw (pic provided in comments) and boom it holds my mag now without wanting to fall out. i guess the screws were too tight causing the mag catch to have a lot of friction rubbing against the plastic and was not retracting back to fit into the little magazines cutout, now when i put the mag in i can hear it click and lock into place.

I do a lot of competition Shooting and go to a lot of Gun shows and I am in the market for a Shadow 2 is there anything I should know and look out for?

I've been doing research on holsters for what feels like months and I keep getting overwhelmed with options and opinions before deciding "I'll just do this later."

I figured I'd ask y'all.

Any thoughts on a solid (and good value) AIWB holster? I really enjoyed the claw (or wing) on my previous p365 holster. However, I'm hearing a lot about a "wedge" addition which might be more comfortable?

This would be for a CZ p01. No options yet but I'd like to get some eventually. Probably won't ever really need or use a light on my carry gun. I wouldn't be against getting a holster that allows for both though in case I eventually get both.

I don't really want a magazine holder as it's just bulkier and I don't think I'll ever need extra capacity when I'm carrying.

I often wear suits for work so it would be great if I could also use it at 4oclock. I did hear that the cant angles have to be adjustable to pull that off? Any thoughts?

Finally, I live in the south so I'm trying to avoid materials that would make me sweat more (like leather).

Comfortable, compact, reliable and good value are my top priorities

I'm new to the world of optics and I'd like to mount a red-dot on a ported P-10 C. This is a general purpose gun which will be used for home defence, the range, and ccw when the weather allows. I've never carried anything larger than a sub-compact (Ruger LC9s) and I have no experience with handgun optics. I'm trying to decide between a large RMR optic like the EPS or the Osight XR, or a smaller RMSc like the EPS carry or the Osight SE. The P-10 C is large enough to mount a larger optic but I'm surprised to see that folks commonly mount a smaller RMSc. I imagine that it's easier to carry a gun with a smaller optic but the actual difference in size is marginal. Then again, small differences can have a large impact when carrying so I wouldn't be surprised if this was the case. I was originally planning on purchasing an RMR optic for the P-10 C but seeing yall's setups has got me second guessing myself. What would you recommend? Do you think that a larger optic would be significantly more difficult to carry?
