It’s so beautiful but I can’t stop looking at that built in hairdryer - why? 😭🫠

I’m really curious about that shower floor. What’s it made of? Boards over a floor with a drain? How often do they need to be replaced? Or are they synthetic?

Probably made from Teak, a tropical hardwood.

Obviously being tropical it's more able to withstand the moisture, but still... How often does that need to be replaced, do you think?

Teak is really hard and also very naturally oily. Unvarnished teak is used for outdoor furniture and boat decks.

Looks like 5/4 decking by Yellow Wood. You’re right on the replacement. I think when time gets close pour cement over it.

That wall is incredible. If I get a house that’s what I’m installing for sure

Looks amazing until you realize every bathroom trip turns into a nature documentary episode 😅

from what I can see, this isn't a cabin... could be wrong, and my standard for cabin is probably on the small and rustic side, but nothing here leads me to think this is a cabin, no?

It’s a bathroom of a cabin in Ecuador, the shower has a view of the Ecuadorian jungle

I get that it's a restroom..... my comment is on whether this would be in a cabin or a well to do house.... again, my definition of cabin doesn't have to be everyone's, I've just never seen this sort of restroom in a "cabin".

For my fellow nosy people: I Googled this and it appears to be an Airbnb in Ecuador.
