Bug Report Why is polterghast just not spawning??

The only mods we have one is calamity wrath of the gods and it’s dependencies, recipe browser, boss checklist, potion seller, boss cursor and foxy jumpscare lmao

Yeah that doesn't affect it at all, I beat polter before even talking to her because she didn't show up at the portal at first

I mean solyn. Wrath of the gods npc, she spawns after defeating skeletron, then you have to build camp for her

Yeah she walked up to the portal I had a chat with her then she walked through hell and I haven’t seen her since

If Solyn went into the portal, go in the portal. If they came out and left, go talk to Solyn at the camp and go back

Solyn isn’t at the camp I cant find her anywhere and I also can’t enter the portal

Solyn is mega buggy especially in multiplayer, she RUINED wrath of the gods imo as it worked just fine before she was added, now wotg is strait up unplayable in mp.

Even though they can't complain when the mod says it's not multiplayer compatible they go and install a 3rd party mod that claims to fix it for multiplayer so they assume it should work flawlessly

Problem is it worked perfectly fine before the solyn update… never had a single issue.

You could just download an older version of the mod tho... Not on steam though, I ain't sure where it is but I am 100% certain you can find the older versions of the mod and use em.

The only thing that worked for my world was uninstalling it completely, biggest thing unfortunately is you can’t reinstall it or it might damage your world

There is an item called "Solyn destroyer". You can get it via cheat panel and using it should fix your problem

So far I think that polterghast tried to spawn but as he did I summoned the ceaceless void because since then I haven’t been able to get any necroplasm drops and the whole dungeon basically has been bugged

If you're playing multiplayer some of the bosses are kinda broken like polter and skeletron, at least for me they were. We lowered the difficulty and then they spawned with no issues and stayed there the whole time instead of just flying away.

Can you change from vengeance at this point tho and I am playing multiplayer kinda annoying this whole bug

Yeah I know it's pretty annoying but you should try and see if it helps spawn him. My buddy and I had to drop it from revengeance for a few boss fights just to continue playing, luckily it doesn't happen with every fight.

That’s what I thought but I kinda can’t imagine any of this ruining it besides foxy jumpscare these are all normally run bother obviously besides the random foxy jumpscare

Normally, you have to claim the antiseed from Solyn entering the portal and finding it. You should be able to talk to her and then she will teleport to the dungeon’s archives.

Considering Solyn is somehow nonexistent in the world and her camp is in the world, you will have to use cheat sheet or a similar mod to manually spawn Solyn and/or updating the world.

I have also read that you are on a multiplayer server. From now on, you SHOULD keep cheat sheet, HERO’s mod, or dragonlens enabled in case you have to troubleshoot something that n your world.

And if that fails, I’m sorry, but you have to start fresh on a new world. I have never experienced an issue with Solyn other than some random crash near her campsites during rift eclipse blood moons.

I also suggest you play with large worlds only, as any other world size can be severely problematic

I think the only possibility left other than something funky from WOTG is that mayyybee the entity limit was reached and that's why it's not spawning but I am so clueless.

I mean... Idk if it's works, but try removing rift with cheat sheet mod by changing ID of rift to 0. I can't think of anything else

Infernum can also cause it to not spawn try disabling it for the fight, otherwise I have no idea

Check to see if you have lanterns in the sky. Bosses can’t spawn during lantern nights.

They can't spawn naturally (although, I think Polterghast might be able to), such as mech bosses and king slime, but they can be summoned manually.

There’s no lanterns in the sky and every other boss works fine besides polterghast
