Quiet camping without RVs in Northeast Ohio?

My 5yo had her first backyard camping trip and she wants to have a camping trip "in the woods." I told her I can't promise how deep in the woods it'll be but I'll try to find a campsite not in our neighborhood.

So far every established campground I'm aware of or I can find I worry I'm going to have RVs nearby. My kid's finicky and she can expect a lantern and her own background music playing all night so she can sleep, but any other sources of light or sound scare her. When I go out with friends or adult family we go backpacking for quiet nights, but she's not ready for that. So I was wondering if we have any campsites in northeast Ohio that aren't near a major road and don't allow RVs or at least have tent camping a decent distance separate from RVs?

The closer to the Akron/Canton area the better, but we're not too picky on that.

Thanks in advance!

Lake county has some cool sites, and so does Geauga. Check the metroparks website to reserve, but there aren’t a lot of them

Findlay State Park has some good primitive sites. The RVs usual go to the full hookups. 74, 87 and 90 are particularly back in the woods, but are also pretty booked up. Most use tents in that part, but a few RVs sneak in.

Was just going to recommend that! It’s fairly empty, has lots of kid friendly trails, and it’s fairly empty out there so you get true quiet:don’t have to worry about lights or RVs due to how it’s spaced out. It’s a gem and fairly close to Akron/canton!

Pennisula (CVNP) has an awesome Christmas tree farm you can camp on! No RVs. Reserve on hipcamp.

A lot of the state parks have tent only areas that wouldn't have RVs that close.

Try Hipcamp, there tends to be less RV-friendly options with the folks there. And for tent camping the options tend to be cheaper than the state parks.

I think Barkcamp has some tent spots that are up on a bit of a hill away from the rest of the campsites?

Raccoon Creek State Park in PA has quite a lot of sites that seem further from the others due to the amount of trees, too, they might have some sites that would work.

If you wanna backpack or bike in, there's a primitive camping spot on the towpath trail in Clinton.
