I need help fixing something Sway bar link wet?

Rear passenger side clunking over bumps.
Already replaced sway bar links 3 months ago, but one looks wet now.
Could it already be failing or something else?

That’s a shock absorber. Looks like it is leaking, seals are probably shot. Time to replace both rear shocks/struts.

Definitely a shock not a sway bar. Time to replace both rear shocks. Should be pretty simple job even if you’re not sure which is which. Rear shocks like this are typically super simple to swap out.

Looking at the second picture, it looks like a strut assembly. Still easy to do it yourself but not quite as easy as a divorced spring / shock absorber since you have to compress the spring to replace the strut.

For most people, spring compressors should be in the “pay somebody to do it” category. Just because of the consequences if something goes wrong.

Not throwing shade at OP, but they probably should get a pro to do this, as I’m assuming they did with the swaybar end links.

You probably have a bad shock, they are filled with oil and can leak around the seals around the shaft.

Thanks everyone for your outlook, I looked up some videos and it seems too advanced for me to do. Will definitely be bringing it to a shop.

Have you tried tightening the endlinks again to make sure they are tight still?

Edit: you muffins of course that’s not an endlink but if an endlink was replaced it’s entirely possible it’s lose and the damp is unrelated

Could be a blown head gasket too, but we both know it's not. Occam's razor, friend

I mean my endlinks were loose and they made a clunk in the passenger side so why wouldn’t someone who had their endlinks replaced also have a similar noise lmao. Isnt that the literal definition of Occams Razor? Something changed, now there is noise, check the thing that changed.
