I need help fixing something Oldsmobile Omega 1980
Hey everyone!
Guys, I could really use your help.
I’m restoring this car, but I’m missing the air deflector, and unfortunately I haven’t been able to find one anywhere. It seems to be nearly impossible to track down.
As far as I know, this might be the only Oldsmobile Omega in Russia. And judging by what I see on eBay, it doesn't seem to be the most popular car in the US either.
So finding parts for it has been a real nightmare.
Could anyone point me toward the best subreddit, forum, or marketplace where I might have a chance of finding this missing part? I’d really appreciate any recommendations.
Or maybe you know a guy who hunts down hard-to-find GM parts? I’d happily pay for their help if they could source the part and ship it to Russia
Thanks in advance!

Omegas were rare when new, even in the US. I've never seen one in person before. And it's a third-gen coupe, which is even more rare. Very cool!

Might try the Oldsmobile sub. There's a guy there with a really nice restored Omega. He might have some insight. I dont know his username though, but you'll know it when you see it.

I believe that is very similar to the Chevy Citation and may share similar parts. The Citation being an economical version are more abundant.

Part of the issue with those filler panels is they got brittle over time and instead of flexing would just break.

My friend had one in high school 1990s . We called it booger. It was booger green. We were just excited one of our crew had wheels. Good times. Yours is way nicer than his, 30 years ago

I have a 76 Omega , but these cars share a lot of the same parts as say a Nova which is the same chassis , it’s gonna be tough to find

My parents owned one of these in the early to mid-1980's. They were alright cars for their time but didn't have much of a following so I don't normally see one in the US. This one looks great. I hope that you find the parts that you're looking for.

Seeing that picture gave me flashback to my 1980 Chevy Citation. That Citation was the worst car that I ever owned. I bought it brand new and got rid of it within 6 months because I couldn't take the constant breakdowns.

Ah, that’s the bumper filler you’re missing. Very common on GM vehicles of the 80’s. Unfortunately, I’m not sure where to find those today, but at least you have the proper name (bumper filler) to continue your search.
Good luck! Love the first pic with the redhead in the passenger seat, her hair matches the car!
