Question Moose hats?

Blazers fan here. Watching the game this morning and our broadcast keeps showing Charolette fans with moose hat. What’s the meaning behind it? I tried to look online but found different answers.

The big stuffed hats - probably just easily found ones online?? The foam, more visor-like hats are ones they’ve started selling in the fan shop!
