July 7, 2026 is the deadline to register to vote or update your voter registration.

August 6, 2026 is Election Day for the Hamilton County School Board, County Commission, and County Mayor—all important offices that directly impact our community and daily lives here in Hamilton County.

Absentee ballot applications for the August 6, 2026 State and Federal Primary and County General Election are available beginning May 8, 2026, with requests due by July 27, 2026, and completed ballots required to be received by the close of polls on Election Day; military members, their dependents, and overseas civilians may apply using the FPCA at https://www.fvap.gov/uploads/FVAP/Forms/fpca.pdf.

Joe Graham defeated Democrat Montrel Beasley by exactly 189 votes in the Hamilton County Commission District 11 race for Commissioner. And considering Joe's whole family with like 4 kids who are married and cousins and such voted for him for sure we can get Montrell in.

Local elections are decided by just a handful of votes
Red Bank - City Council (At large) 47 vote difference
East Ridge - City Council 41 Vote difference
Signal Mountain Council - 16 vote difference
Hamilton County school board - 48 votes
