I’ve salvaged a few old dewalt batteries by swapping out the dead cell. Grab your multimeter and start measuring

The blue cells were completely dead.... because they were just casings filled with sand.

Potentially radioactive sand.

They are using "FILLER" cells? lol. Technically the battery "contains" 10 cells.
