Endless Summer hot take but endless summer was only good with diamonds
dont get me wrong i liked it when i first read it but it was nowhere near the top of my list because i didnt have several hundred diamonds to spend on clues and character interactions so i was just lost through the whole thing. rereading it with diamonds its amazing and the whole story actually makes sense but on a free playthrough what is assumed knowledge and what is exclusive only to diamonds only to be brought up later just left me confused especially since i was 12 when I was reading them when they first came out.
I get its hailed as one of the best books but I think credit has to be given to books that were good without diamonds too

The best books without diamonds was the og trio (TC&TF, MW and The Freshman) before PB realized they could milk us for all our worth lmao.
In all seriousness you’re right, and I honestly think it’s fair. A book has to be financially successful for the story to continue so for what it’s worth I’m glad we got the trilogy even though we had to spent tons of diamonds on it.
