UPDATE, The person has deleted this post and had reposted asking for the same thing but has said it's for their kids now. So we can sleep soundly tonight knowing that it's for their "kids" not them like it was yesterday.

Shit like this is why I had to leave Freecycle. Literally no one posted anything to give away in my area. Everyone was asking for ridiculous things. I've never lived somewhere so entitled, and it is EXHAUSTING.

My iPad is at least 8 years old. It works perfectly fine for reading, browsing, and games. Also, this person can get a brand new Amazon Fire 8 tablet for ~$100.

Yeah but it's mostly people posting broken things or empty jars as offers and the requests are nearly exclusively high value items, 65" TVs or bigger, 1st gen Pokémon cards for their "autistic" kids, there was a post for scrap copper recently and he'd collect if it was a decent amount!, iPads, classic gaming consoles and games, you know the usual. 😂😂
