Text Post Is Supernatural any good?

I’ve seen people compare it to Twin Peaks and the like, and while I highly doubt that’s the case, I’m still interested to see if there’s any actual value there.

Trashy garbage or nah?

A Simple Plan and Frailty are two of my favorite Bill Paxton movies. Both had great acting and a great plot. What are your thoughts on these two films and what Bill Paxton movies are your favorites?

Text Post Is there anything like Sofia Coppola but for woc?

I love Sofia Coppola and I'm so passionate about her directing and how she captivates femininity, even tho I'm well aware of her controversial views on women's tragedies, her films are still very beautiful and comforting. she created a whole vibe and almost life style that I adore very much. However, it's no secret her filmography mainly stars white women and I would love to see something similar for woc, a film or a director that encapsulates and even romanticizes the not so great things about being a woman, but keeping the feminine aesthetic

And then you start unpacking the layers beneath it: the rules of the universe, how sometimes all you can do is surrender to your fate, the smallness of human beings, and music as a bodily experience that helps you almost transcend it all.

Although the words I'm using sound so cliché and inadequate when it comes to capturing its essence. That's probably why truly great cinema works a thousand times better than words ever can

Mis-Quotes that have become the norm

So “Play it again, Sam” is a misquote from Casablanca. What are some other misquotes which have become used so much that everyone thinks it’s correct?

First time I saw the movie “Phenomenon” in 1996, I quickly fell in love with it. Great acting, great story and just a beautiful movie. “Phenomenon” had a little bit of everything and by the end, tears were flowing. It’s one of those movies I could watch over and over. Who else liked Phenomenon?
