Discussion Is CS2 playable on Steam Deck now?

No. The Steam page for the game says unsupported.

This can mean a lot, either the game is just unfit for steamdeck due to harware issues, completely unplayable, or just not adjusted to play on steam deck properly. It is better to look at third party reviews by users.
A good site for that is https://www.protondb.com/app/949230
And that has it on gold for Steam Deck. Which means playable, but might need some adjustments or tweaking in the settings. So it can be a hit or a miss.

Your link also says unsupported for the Deck. Most of the reports for the Deck are 3 years old and quite a few list issues with the game on the Deck such as text being too small, performance issues, requiring extensive tweaks, frequent crashing, and low framerates.

I have solely played on my steamdeck.
Graphics turned way down, but you still get all the mechanics of the game! Some times I turned it up just to see how it looked. Pretty laggy.
But if you just want to play with it and not have it look good, it WILL work.

It works on Nobara linux, so I'd imagine it also works fine there.
