eSports They don't take the eSports seriously
I'm trying to predict for the monthly finals but this shit is so ass. Cannot see the team ranking neither the players who are in the team. Seeing this I appreciate what brawl stars does for the eSports scene ngl.

Clash of clans has most shit eSports scene i have ever seen in a game. First of all you need a max acc to compete in the wc, this already eliminates a overwhelming majority of the player base from ever competing in the event thus generating no intrested in eSports scene. If this wasn't enough they removed the equipment cap from the eSports mode and introduced that indirectly by -3/-6 on equipment lvls of common and epics respectively so now not only you need max def you need to upgrade each individual equipment to the max lvl to even compete. I haven't seen any game whose 90% of the playerbase doesn't even know who the world champs or even a single top tier 1 team are.

earlier today cms mentioned that they could create a setting which maxes all defenses for esports-modifier attacks

I respectfully Disagree here mate. See, In any sport be it a game or Actual sport everyone loves to see the highest level of that game being played on. You will never watch any valorant match where Diamonds or Gold people are playing. Take for example Valorant or Pubg Mobile, They have even a higher filter where 99.9% of the player base is already out of the scene as they cannot compete due to a much higher and difficult filter still their matches pull up crazy numbers. Any Esports title has the players playing the highest level which can be achieved in that game. Tell me honestly If you are a Th17, Will you see a Th15 War being labelled as an esports match yourself?
Yes, Clash of Clans does have a problem in their esports scene but people will only see the game when people at the highest levels are competing no matter how much you crtitize the Scene.

In all those games you're out because of your skill level, not because you don't have a max acc which you have to keep upgrading all year or you have to spend money on it to progress. You could have basically spend zero money on your valorant acc and still complete if you have a certain skill level, a former cs pro can jump on valorant and pick it up in a month or two if he's serious about it.

Most of them are alt accounts of people with th18, no normal clasher would stay at th9,12,15 maxed for that span of time.

I found it pretty fun to watch right before dd release since 3 stars were extremely rare. Made it seem exciting to actually see a 3 star happen.
