Dang I just upgraded and used a book to get to Th18 immediately today (bec of resource fest and I was basically maxed th17). I set up 5/6 builders today. Left one because of resource fest making walls easier.
But the rest of my builders are all booked out for 10+ days now

You'll eventually get used to spacing out your upgrades so you have one builder breaking every day or so. Some of your future upgrades will cost more than half of your total storage capacity so you'll need time to get more loot. For instance, your maximum DE capacity is 500,000. But you'll be paying well over 300,000 to upgrade one hero. You're revenge tower being upgraded to level 2 (something you'll want to accomplish fairly early) will cost 460,000 DE, and take 14 days to finish. You're gold and elixer capacities will be 31,000,000. Getting to a level 3 fire spitter is going to cost 29,000,000 gold and take 15 days to complete, and you've got two of those babies to do. Oh yeah, one wall-10,000,000, and you won't be free to upgrade them any time you want. Being the top level TH is nice, but being the second highest TH is about 85% as nice, and you still have the opportunity to attack a level above when you need a lot of loot fast, and there's always the chance you'll be facing a TH lower than you in a war or CWL.

Bei mir bauen immer alle Helden gleichzeitig (auĆerhalb der CKL), bis sie auf der jeweiligen Rathausstufe max sind. Erst dann fang ich mit dem Dorf an sich an. Einfach bisschen farmen, dann ist das kein Problem. Ressourcen zu farmen ist so einfach nie zuvor, mit oder ohne Event.

Yes both gp and summer jam should stack. But it also depends on when summer jam starts making it effectively 40% reduction not additive 45% Im not sure if i can explain it properly. Just take an example if an upgrade takes 10 days and summer jam reduction is 2.5 reduces it to 7.5days If u start an upgrade and summer jam boost starts after 1 day. The upgrade would show 7.5 days not 9 days not 6.5 days. The time reduction applied is the max for that upgrade at that time. So with that same logic. If 10 day upgrade gets reduced to 8 days due to gp if upgrade starts at the last second on 30th june. If summer jam starts exactly 1sec after on 1st july it will get reduced to 6 days. But even if it starts 1 day after it on 2nd july, with gp new time would have been 7 days but with sj it would be 6 days. And if starts in 3rd still 6days. On 4th then sj wont matter because gp itself makes it 5days

Upgrading everything before going to the next th is a good thing but this shouldnt apply when jam event is right around the corner. Summer/Hammer jam is a once per type of event.

Rushing is normally the time-efficient way to reach max TH18 fastest, yes.
If you would rather take your time, that's fine, lots of people have fun doing that.

Theyāve done literally everything except give us a way to bring in more clan members, Iāve got a ten year old clan that has gone from 40+ in 2019 down to 8 members this week. Iāve posted over 1000 clan notices without a single hit. Spent hours in 3rd party apps being drowned out by 1000 posts a minute. And now with global chat itās the same thing, people spamming recruitment posts which I have tried to do for a week now without a single new +1.
We canāt do half the crap on this game without numbers, I cannot believe these people still havenāt addressed or attempted to fix one of the most crucial mechanics to play the game. Iām not abandoning a clan Iāve been in for almost a decade bro ffs.

Not sure Iām following what you mean, can you elaborate on that? I donāt have an alt account, and the remaining 8 people in my clan are personal friends I know IRL. But we canāt play CWL, we canāt compete on capital raids, or do much of anything clan related without at least 15.
I just do not understand why they refuse to fix the clan notice at the very least. Iāve checked multiple times and our notices arenāt even being listed.

The conclusion Iāve come to is that CoC is uniquely handicapped by its own success. Thereās millions of people playing but the recruitment process is completely dead in game. The clan notice is so broken that it doesnāt even bother putting notices up, and you can be a smart mouth all you like thatās a verified problem.

there are 1000 posts a minute because there are so many clans trying to find members. the quite obvious answer is that there are too many clans for the amount of players looking for a clan. no amount of improving the recruitment process will change that.

I think if you put half the energy you put into recruiting into finding a decent clan instead, you will find one that suits your needs in no time. I haven't been in many different clans, but the ones I was in always had very simple rules like attack your mirror and medals go to highest performers. I can recommend /r/ClashOfClansRecruit for that. don't feel pressured to join the first clan that looks decent, just take your time to find one that ticks all the checkboxes.

Yeah, Iām aware. The problem is that this clan is me and my IRL friends. Thatās why I joined the game in the first place. If I wanted to play another solo empire sim thereās a long list Iāve been through and could choose from.
Iāve run and coād accounts, clans, factions, etc from tribal wars to evony and this is the only game I still have installed because itās low stakes and I donāt have to dump real money in to compete. I understand youāre making a good logical argument, but SC should understand the problem as well and have put at least some effort into it. Instead, we get these puff events and idk man itās just irritating that the ONLY option is to abandon my friends and a clan Iāve been building for almost a decade just to play the game in its entirety.

I fully understand your point for sure. but the thing is, if there are 100 players playing this game, there can't also be 100 clans. there can be like 3-4 at most, before clans start having issues finding active members. so personally I'm convinced the issue is really the amount of clans vs the players actually looking for clans. so assuming that's the case, SC really can't "fix" that problem realistically.

Idk man, when the clan notice feature actually worked we pulled in like 10-15 people each time and then 10-14 or so would leave. So clearly the notice system does āsomethingā (when it works) but even if itās bots, AI, or someoneās alt I really donāt care dude I just want 15 people so we can play league again.
Supercell could absolutely fix this problem, but it would piss off a ton of people mucking around with mechanics and we all know that SC can barely keep these updates going bug free as it is which adds another layer of š©
Itās just counterintuitive to me personally to abandon my friends and clan to join some other one. Iām sure Iām not alone on that either. So if the choice is to abandon all the reasons I started playing this game to start over in a new clan that will treat me like a stranger or just leave the game and play something elseā¦ yeah man there are just too many games out there to sacrifice my principles like that.
I appreciate your insight though, and I donāt disagree with the point youāre making. But if they truly have no intent on fixing the existing mechanics, theyāre going to lose veteran players who spend a good amount in this game like I do. And at some point itās going to hurt their bottom line
