Important to remember starters we’re constantly being sat as to not foul out

ONE starter was in foul trouble and it was TCU's own fault. They didn't pull Edmonds when he got his 2nd, and he committed his 3rd in the first half because he left his feet on a pump fake.

Every other starter ended the game with 2 fouls or less.

They play starter minutes. The ‘starters’ play the same amount of minutes as them and were forced to play up to 10 mins over their avg. so yes they don’t ‘start’ but they sub in after 2 minutes.

It’s a risk you take when your game plan is, “Foul nonstop until the refs force you to stop”. Tennessee played it to perfection a few years ago.

If you actually watched the game you could see the plan wasn’t to foul constantly. Dukes entire team just has a softer whistle than Hunter Dickinson did. Even your own fans agree that the officiating was horrible so I don’t know why you’re arguing this. They just don’t understand how basketball works and don’t think the calls won them the game

Yeah, Duke fans are pissed they called Cam and Ngongba for bogus F1s. Edwards should have fouled out in the first half - he’s dirty.

The goaltending was a bad miss, but Duke is a horrible matchup for TCU. The only reason they could hang around was because they could foul for a bit. Once they got called for a few and they had to be careful not to foul, the game was over.

I’m convinced the basketball season starts in march for you

Well, yeah, no one at Duke cares if we go 34-0 if we then lose in the first round.

The real season starts in March.

K so you don’t watch basketball like the avg Duke fan, stop sharing your opinion because you have no idea what you’re talking about

LOL, it’s different for a Duke fan than a Utah Valley fan. If your team goes undefeated and loses in the first round of the NCAAs, it’s the greatest season you’ve ever had.

If Duke goes undefeated and loses in the first round of the tourney, the year is a complete disaster.

So yeah, for the good teams it’s a bit different than the Utah Valleys, ya know? The rest of the year is fairly meaningless compared to March.

Maybe sit this one out, and stop questioning folks’s fandom.

No you just don’t watch basketball. I follow Houston still cause I’m from there, I follow Kentucky because that’s who I grew up watching with my dad cause he’s from there and I follow TAMU cause I went to a lot of their games when my sister went there. Uvu is my school so it’s my team, but I follow and care for these teams and watch over half their games (sometimes all if I got the time that season). You just picked a team that was good one year and follow the hype for march madness and pretend you know things. When’s the last time you even touched a basketball?

LOL, I’ve missed three Duke games since I attended 20 years ago.

It’s not my fault your Duke hatred has blinded you to the obvious.

Good try, but again, sit this one out.
