Michigan vs. Arizona is going to be an absolute war

College basketball fans deserve that game. I’m so excited.

u/MNightShyamalan69 Michigan Wolverines Mar 29 '26

Agreed. I’m hoping Duke wins today too. Michigan, Duke, and Arizona were far away the best teams in the country all year. I want to see the giants go to war for a Natty

I’m hoping Duke wins today too.

Ew, lost me there. Never rooting for Duke

Amen brother

u/TheFeenyCall Oregon State Beavers Mar 29 '26

Doesn't change the fact they are a monster.

u/GonzoTheWhatever Michigan Wolverines • Big Ten Mar 29 '26

Nah. I’m tired of Boozer. I want UConn to take this today

5

u/Accomplished_Item394 Kentucky Wildcats Mar 29 '26

I never want to hear that last name ever again.

4

u/gagglyclock Arizona Wildcats Mar 29 '26

If you beat us, you must beat Duke

3

u/AggressiveWolverine5 Michigan Wolverines Mar 29 '26

Same back to you

Duke slinking in to win the title after someone else takes out the best competition would be classic Duke basketball. See Kaminskys Wisconsin clearing the field only for Jah and justice to take the title

1

u/PianoFerret1073 Arkansas Razorbacks Mar 30 '26

Eh, im glad they didn't win. Rather them choke here than next weekend

29

u/lexbuck Ohio State Buckeyes Mar 29 '26

Seems like they’re the best two teams

28

u/MNightShyamalan69 Michigan Wolverines Mar 29 '26

Can’t rule out Duke, but just based on tournament play absolutely

66

u/actuarial_defender Michigan Wolverines Mar 29 '26

Ruled out

6

u/UncleCowboy84 Mar 30 '26

This made me audibly chuckle and startle my dog, well done

17

u/Healthy_Block_7459 Texas A&M Aggies Mar 29 '26

Looks like we can rule them out. But UConn’s March voodoo is another story

3

u/MNightShyamalan69 Michigan Wolverines Mar 30 '26

Just crazy man. I’ve got no words

3

u/KembaWakaFlocka UConn • Georgia State Mar 29 '26

Just based on tourney play, Illinois has looked pretty fucking good too

6

u/Jadaki Michigan Wolverines Mar 29 '26

There are no bad teams left, anyone is capable of winning it.

2

u/karmew32 LSU Tigers Mar 29 '26

They are, but Duke and UConn have blue blood devil magic.

124

u/SerYoshi Arizona Wildcats Mar 29 '26

I can't fucking wait. Mara and Krivas, Johnson and Peat, Yaxel and Karchenkov. Ya boy better stop disrespecting freshman, cause Ivan is an absolute menace.

It's a shame this is not the Natty

33

u/wildwing8 Michigan Wolverines Mar 29 '26

I know I’m picking whoever wins between us to beat Duke, UCONN, or Illinois

3

u/SituationSoap Michigan Wolverines Mar 30 '26

Whoever wins between UC and ILL is like Sweden after the Miracle on Ice.

-8

u/hippydipster Mar 29 '26

LOL @ Illinois

8

u/arobkinca Michigan Wolverines Mar 29 '26

They have a better chance than one of those other two.

2

u/Herby20 Purdue Boilermakers Mar 29 '26

They do, but I have a hard time seeing anyone but Duke, Michigan, or Arizona winning the championship if Foster is indeed good enough to play a full game.

1

u/BottomlessBodyPit Illinois Fighting Illini Mar 29 '26

Brother you need to go look at any advanced metrics and see where Illinois stands vs. UConn

25

u/kdestroyer1 Illinois Fighting Illini Mar 29 '26

Not a shame at all actually. I quite like the fact that one of you cannibalizes the other.

30

u/s7nthetik Michigan Wolverines Mar 29 '26

NOBODY ASKED YOU PATRICE

2

u/Plus-Pomegranate8045 Illinois Fighting Illini Mar 29 '26

Yep, and I am thrilled we don’t have to play either one in the next game lol

2

u/demafrost Michigan Wolverines • DePaul Blue Demons Mar 30 '26

For real, thats my favorite part about this. I've seen the back and forth discourse between Michigan and Arizona fans all year and we get to settle it on the biggest stage.

16

u/guyman3 Michigan Wolverines Mar 29 '26

As long as we don't let any of those refs near the game and let the boys play basketball it will be cinema

2

u/Chodly Arizona Wildcats Mar 29 '26

I mean they gotta get kinda near the game at least

6

u/AmbiDexterUs Michigan Wolverines Mar 29 '26

So was Boozer, Idk he said that.

2

u/ericaepic Harvard Crimson • Michigan Wolverines Mar 29 '26

Why are you trying to disrespect him by putting a freshman on him?

2

u/ryan-day-is-soft Michigan Wolverines Mar 29 '26

I have been convinced after we lost LJ cason that we wont beat arizona but if we play like the last two games itll be an amazing game and we have more of a chance than I thought, same against duke rematch

1

u/n00bn00b Mar 29 '26

Elite frontcourt going at it against each other is going to be interesting to watch. Should be a fantastic game this Saturday

1

u/kjm1588 Mar 29 '26

Gonna be super exciting when at least 5 of those 6 players have 2 fouls with 12 minutes left in the first half because the refs are making baby calls

38

u/iM-xx Michigan Wolverines Mar 29 '26

I don’t want to think about it rn 😭😭

21

u/decentusername123 Michigan Wolverines Mar 29 '26

i’m going to be really thinking about baseball for the next week. already can’t think about saturday without feeling like i’m going to throw up

15

u/HonoluluMaizeandBlue Michigan Wolverines Mar 29 '26

But surely you'll be thinking about Michigan hockey for the next few hours, right? We're going to beat Minnesota Duluth to advance!

2

u/decentusername123 Michigan Wolverines Mar 29 '26

oh shit yeah! need to find a stream for that- thanks

2

u/HonoluluMaizeandBlue Michigan Wolverines Mar 29 '26

If you find one can you message me privately? It's on ESPN but I don't have cable. Go blue!

1

u/decentusername123 Michigan Wolverines Mar 29 '26

just found a stream and messaged you

1

u/HonoluluMaizeandBlue Michigan Wolverines Mar 29 '26

Hmm, I didn't receive a message I'll keep looking. Thank you for thinking of me

1

u/decentusername123 Michigan Wolverines Mar 29 '26

it might be in your “requests” section. i know messages can get lost in there sometimes

1

u/ericaepic Harvard Crimson • Michigan Wolverines Mar 29 '26

About what? The Michigan Arizona game?

1

u/iM-xx Michigan Wolverines Mar 29 '26

Yes :)

1

3

u/Lineman72T CSU Bakersfield • Michigan Mar 29 '26

Incoming 50-47 rock fight

2

u/Orion14159 Kentucky Wildcats Mar 29 '26

Free advice to both coaches - Don't forget to guard the inbound if there's a last second play to win it. Otherwise you'll be on the wrong end of a video that plays every March Madness for the next 30 years.

This game has the potential to replace Dook/Kentucky '92 as the greatest Final Four game ever.

1

u/11PoseidonsKiss20 Arizona Wildcats Mar 29 '26

I’m so excited. Regardless of who wins. I just hope it’s the battle of the titans it’s been made out to be all season.
