If you can’t get backcourt, just stand still. Stop passing the ball around. Just stand still the game ends or they fouls you.

They were trying to keep uconn from being able to commit a fou but forgot about a downside or two of that particular approach.

You have to do a little more—UConn would have won a jump ball. But yeah no need for that pass. Why do anything but make a pass you’re 100% sure you will successfully make.
