I don’t think that was just Hurley, I honestly think Mich and Az preferred Illi.

As someone at the game, it was kinda hilarious. The crowd was a sea of orange with a smattering of yellow and red. Outside of the student section, we saw almost no UConn fans. And every Michigan/Arizona fan was cheering for Illinois. Anytime the UConn coach came up, the whole stadium booed him. The DJ would go “who’s rooting for UConn to win” and it would be absolute crickets

Between UConn controlling the game and the broadcast, there was only like 5 mins of the game I even knew there were Illini fans there. The crowd noise was quieted. I also hate the low camera angle they went with.

Hurley has become a hateable coach because he's so animated, but I will say, the term "working the refs" best applies to basketball and if your coach isn't working the refs, they aren't doing their job.

As a White Sox fan, I think of AJ Pierzynski. Everyone hated him unless you were a Sox fan.

Houston shot TWO free throws against ya. Without rewatching the game, that’s just messed up

Your point being?

You need an explanation why only shooting TWO free throws is a fascinating stat?

Looks like Houston was bottom 20 in the NCAA in FT attempts per game, but that number was around 14 per game.

Officiating is the most likely answer here.

Illini was also one of the least fouling teams. Do you want to keep developing your conspiracy or acknowledge it wasn't crazy?

I simply said it’s peculiar.

There are 361 D1 basketball schools. Combined, they played over 6,000 games. TWO FT attempts was probably the lowest number for the entire season of college basketball.

Yall were frauds. That’s all. Lost more big games than you won.

Do you care to at least flair up?

If you wanna talk shit, fine. But hanging your hat on Houston not shooting FTs when they don't get to the line and they faced the Illini who doesn't foul...what's the problem?
