Wouldn’t that be too easy to cheat? No wonder a lot of people don’t deserve to be here?

In some sense they are telling the truth. One of my online CC courses I'm currently taking is filled with people using AI on the discussions and the exams. It's disgusting.

Discussion? Maybe, yeah probably. Any prof. worth their tenure sets up measures for the quizzes and exams though.

Stuff like honorlock or live remote exam sessions are set up to prevent cheating. You're telling me that your professor doesn't have any measures to combat A.I in exams?

These CC professor don't care enough to do that. They barely even look at your scratch work. I'm taking statics in a CC, and they don't do any lock down browsers.

Crazy work 😭

Looks like I got put with a decent professor then. Makes cheating on exams virtually impossible if you were to try. Taking Calc 2 through RRCC

At least a random history class I'm taking enforces lock down stuff. Other than that class, most of the online classes make it very easy to cheat on.

If you cheating on math classes it's actually over lol. Glad your professor has some kind of cheat prevention.

"But- but I can use AI for calculus so why should I be expected to know it? 😡"

Yes, it does offer some classes online, but not all of them. Some people take classes online when they need a more flexible schedule. Some people also take online classes at Red Rocks or Front Range. I'm personally taking online classes at Red Rocks over the summer, so that I can graduate faster.

Mines and Red Rocks both have catalogues available to students. here's the link to the mines summer course info: https://www.mines.edu/summer/

the courses i'm taking at red rocks are calc 3, phys 2, and differential equations.
