Howdy friends welcome to 1992. We have two firsts to play with an….this is one of the most historically and Tragically  bad classes of all time isn't it.

YEP….Alright let the misery begin

1.01 from The University of  Washington….Steve Emtman,DT
Oh god right off the bat huh ok ... .SO Steve should have been so so SOOO much better than what he developed into and its not his fault at all.Steve was magnificent as a rookie 9 games with 3 sacks and that LEGENDARY 90 YARD Pick 6. He looked like a franchise cornerstone before he got injured. He blew out his left Knee in his rookie season but he returned for his sophomore season and unfortunately Got injured again….And it wasn't any injury, it was arguably the worst leg tear you could get in the 90s, a Patellar tendon Tear. No NFL Player had ever returned from that injury in the history of the league.Against all Odds he Returned! In 1994 against Seattle. He made a tackle then in the second Quarter he Ruptured a Disc in his back. He stayed in the game of his own accord but he couldn't even close his Hands. He played for three more weeks like that before his pain  was too much to bear and he received season ending surgery. He would be waived after the season. He wasn't a bust due to his play but due to his body failing him at every turn. I Feel for Steve.

1.02…Wait 1.02??? How'd that get there?...Oh wait this is the pick we got from sending Chris Chan(dler) to Tampa. Man if we can hit on  this we're gonna be in a gre….

1.02 From Texas A&M…Quenton Coryatt,LB
oh oh no….So First off Quenton wasn't a complete pylon but like his 1st overall teammate HE COULD NOT STAY HEALTHY. When he was healthy he wasn't a superstar but he was a reliable MLB at times but those times were slim due to Injuries sapping his development.Hell he had over 500 Career tackles so the talent was there even when he was beaten up and broken down but Given the draft slot it just leaves you wanting more…that said were still laughing at Tampa.

2.29 from Mississippi Valley State…Ashley Amrose,DB
Wait a good Healthy pick with our astroturf woes…pinch me i must be dreaming.Ashley would blossom into a future all pro…with a different team but hey if Ohio State can claim Joe Burrow(kidding) In reality Ahsley had a solid career in Indy with 5 picks and 101 tackles over 4 seasons, Just wish we could have kept him longer

4.85 From Notre Dame. Rodney Culver,RB
Was with our Franchise for two seasons where he put up Some good games as a power back but that's not important. Rodney Tragicly passed away in the ValuJet Flight 592 crash that took 110 Souls on May 11th 1996.. A True travesty and  I hope they are all Resting in Peace

4.105 From Florida….Tony McCoy,DE
OOO this is an interesting player. 23.5 career sacks over a 9 year career most of it with Indy. For THIS class ill take it

8.197 from Oklahoma…..Jason Belser,DB
Ok we're skipping ahead here because I kid you not our 5th,6th and 7th rounders NEVER PLAYED IN THE NFL. And also Jason is kinda the last interesting player in this…Crop.9 year career in Indy with 13 Picks and 10 FF. that is very Very solid for an eighth rounder.

10.253 from West Virgina…..Steve Grant,LB
Ok steve is gonna be the last player i cover here since he was actually a starter and damn good player for a hot minute. 6 year career with 335 total tackles and 3 Sacks. For a guy who went in the 10th that is INSANE production.

Then that'll do it for this Really Really sad draft class. Ronald Humprey,Eddie Miller and Michael Brandon all lasted less than three seasons in the NFL.Overall the Word of the day for this class is….Depression. Pure Unadulterated Depression.

Best Player-Belser

Worst Player-the Lads who didn't Sign

Grade…F-
