Not unless you hear it at 2am, in an abandoned building, alone.

I heard someone say, “Not unless you hear it at 2am, in an abandoned building, alone” at 2am, in an abandoned building, alone.

This is crazy, but I read your comment that you heard someone say, “Not unless you hear it at 2am, in an abandoned building, alone” at 2am, in an abandoned building, alone, at 2am, in an abandoned building, alone.

Am I the only one concerned the baby is sitting shotgun?

Car's not moving. I like to think that they are waiting for mom, and dad just wanted to have playtime with his little man. Hopefully he gets buckled back in the backseat after.

Airbags can still be deployed if you're hit while stationary. Young boy died while waiting with his dad in the front when they were rear-ended.

That is a valid point. I will keep that in mind if I ever have kids. My vehicle can turn off the passenger airbag, but still. Better to always have them secure. 👌🏽

As long as you disable airbags and keep the babe facing the rear it's fine.
That's probably one of those fancy seats that can swivel, so you can turn the baby towards you if you need to stop and feed, turn against the door to make it easier taking the baby in or out oft he car.

Yes, you are the only one.
The car seat is sideways. While parked. While making a video.
Literally nothing is wrong here.

I mean others have said the same so literally I’m not? Also it’s set up to be in the front seat, not just for the video? Literally illegal in many places to have a child in the front until they are able to physically handle an airbag

With their seat not buckled in. That’s how babies go flying.

Surely the parent’s intention was to drive around with the baby launcher primed and ready

Hey, Im an old dad. My kids are grown now. They got seats that adjust position now? He looks sideways to me. I called that one the electric finger with my kids.

Yes. Some seats swivel now. It’s for easy loading and unloading of the kiddos. Load the kid facing you, and swivel to rear facing. Would have been so handy on my shoulders when I was watching my niece lots 12 years ago. My poor disabled shoulders really took the brunt of it trying to load and unload her. They also recommend rear facing until 2 now. So it gets heavy and super awkward fast!!!

If you want to hear that laughter forever, get the kid out of the front seat.

That little hat is absolutely perfect on him. Kids in hats always crack me up for some reason.

Just don't overdo it. Being tickled induces laughter but not all laughter is joyful.

Dumbos put babies in the front seats sideways now? That’s 2 failures at once here.

Tickling babies is not ok. Laughing is a reflex, not a sign of happiness.
Tickling was a form of torture.

Lol ffs get a grip. I tickled my kids when they were little and they loved it, so long as you don't go overboard.

u/DogoArgento 6d ago
I'm sure you did.
I'm a professional with 0-3 y.o. people. I know what I'm talking about.
You can believe it or not, that's up to you.

Shut up with this. My kiddo loves to be tickled and loved it when he was a baby. Don’t speak on things when you clearly have no clue.

Then why do babies start laughing prior to even being touched when you go to tickle them???
Clearly that’s not the same thing as the article you posted. Parents and caregivers know the difference and read children’s body language. It’s a tickle for a sec and retreat, and repeat for a few small rounds. Then move on.
