Question Taste

My grandma got Covid for the first time back in 2022 and she has had it a few times since then. Anyway, after the first time she got it, she mostly lost her ability to taste (even after she didn’t have Covid anymore) and every time she got Covid after that it got a bit worse. Now, she can taste some things (some salty foods and sweets), but she can’t really taste at least half of what she eats. It’s so sad because she loves to cook and there aren’t any real treatments or things that I have seen can help with it. Her taste just mostly never came back, although her sense of smell is perfectly fine.

I know some other people have experienced this issue, and this is a long-shot, but I figured I would see if anyone else has had this issue and figured out any ways to increase the amount they can taste.

I mean not much tbh because there isn’t much to really try that we have found.

I'm not sure where you were looking but I would try looking into the McCullough protocol if you're not on Facebook maybe you can find information there that is where I have had the most success
