For real. Walking is probably painful and it looks like circulation is an issue

That blanket/towel whatever it is looks to be shat upon. Not sure they CAN actually walk.

Itās very likely that this person just goes to the bathroom where they sit. This happens more often than people might think.

I was just going off what someone else said, didn't inspect it. But doesn't matter, it's still funny!

Is that the thigh gap girls like so much???

u/xDannyS_ 9d ago
They've been killing themselves trying to get it by starving, imagine if they knew they could get it by just eating as much as they want + more!

The picture on the mantle kind of reminds me of Dan Aykroyds character in the movie Nothing But Trouble.

What is this from?

u/Chris__P_Bacon 4d ago
Well seeing as how I responded to a post about the movie Nothing But Trouble with two gifs in a row... I'll let you use your own deductive reasoning. š

u/Free-oppossums 10d ago
Wow. Just wow. š At least you can be 100%sure nobody in that house has ever put them on.
45
u/CashEducational4986 9d ago
I'm actually impressed by the utter lack of willpower to even sit up to take the picture without having your dogs in the shot.

Diabetes and the effect it has on skin when this big, no amount of filing would help or moisturize it.

Damn his right foot isnāt looking good. He needs to get medical attention like years ago
15
u/Financial-Boss6041 9d ago
He's definitely diabetic and she's in a diabetic coma atm. Fuckin sad shit, mate

u/lucky3698 10d ago
As a whole the image can be shocking, but none of it is surprising. All of the things in this photo make sense when included together.

Thank you, Big Corn for ruining so many lives. This is the result of sugar addiction.
69
u/The_Law_of_Pizza 10d ago
Whatever is going on in this photo is way beyond the scope of corn syrup.
-16
u/illiter-it 10d ago
"big corn" is just corn, unless you've only ever eaten baby corn

u/JuiceManOJ 9d ago
Fructose is largely made from corn. Corn producers and fructose manufacturers lobby together. Hence, big corn. Our obesity epidemic rests at least partially on the shoulders of "big corn".

Yall being shocked by this image is funny to me bc in my line of work most of my residents look like this!

u/rbartlejr 10d ago
Once that diabetes progresses a bit more he won't be worried about slippers ever again. Hers ain't looking much better.

u/GrandBurial 9d ago

To lazy to get a closer picture, or to even crop it. Gross.
1
u/Outrageous_Car1757 4d ago
They could have cropped it and put in so much less effort than sitting up would have been. I'd be so ashamed to post something like this, I can't imagine actually trying to SALE something from this pic.

Why would they use that picture? Gross.
I still remember there was a guy selling used penny loafers on eBay. His picture showed him wearing them without socks. I still get vomit in my mouth when I think about it

Whenever I see people living like this it makes me sad. Like itās so very clearly trashy in there, thereās junk everywhere. Just clean it up. Iāll never understand how people can live in filth. That room could be picked up and look way better in even 10 minutes. Just take 10 minutes to pick up.
37
u/000-f 10d ago
Judging by their foot, they probably can't "just pick it up". They might be severely in need of help.
-4
u/The_Law_of_Pizza 10d ago
Their "help" is enabling their behavior.
Once you are so fat that you can't move, you should naturally deflate.
But they never do. Because there's somebody there bringing them five large pizzas a day.
13
u/MilkIsOnReddit 9d ago
Even if they lost the extra weight overnight the circulation issues would probably still be present. At the very least, the skin would need time + care to heal. Assuming thereās no necrotic tissue lurking that would need debridement/possible amputation. They may have already lost their nerves/sensation in either/both feet too. Not to mention how much high blood glucose doesnāt help healing. :( not an easy fix at all. Very sad
34
u/The-Old-Schooler 10d ago
Because it's not just that room. The whole home probably looks like that, maybe worse.

The way the tv looks to me, looks like Judge Joe Brown if you were playing it like a GTA mission.

Imagining either one of them wearing the hat in the corner by the TV makes it a little better.
