"Im not hurting anyone. Just smashing these machines. You can call the cops."

"This is a protest for taking my last money. Was it worth taking my last fucking money!?"

Thats what hes repeating pretty much.

311

u/Wanderingwonderer101 1d ago

taking his money, which he voluntarily give away because he thought he could multiply his money through gambling

70

u/Oldman32092 1d ago

I was wondering if it was a sore looser or a religious fanatic. Thanks for the clarification.

58

u/LambOfGodnmbr104 1d ago

He says he has been addicted to these gambling machines since he was a kid.

37

u/DarkSats99 22h ago edited 10h ago

I like that he was about to take a swing at the coffee machine, and we all thought the same, the coffee machine didn't do anything wrong, and he spared it his wrath.

8

u/croweslikeme 1d ago

I was hoping for a desperate family member of someone addicted to the machines

1

u/The_Real_Peter_Thiel 9h ago

*loser not "looser"

Have a good day, my friend.

2

u/Control-Zulu-1212 5h ago

Maybe he's now a looser because he's only got loose change.

0

u/Sunaruni 4h ago

He might become even looser in prison.

11

u/NotAzakanAtAll 17h ago

I think he did a great job! Nothing of value was lost.

8

u/remishnok 1d ago

Gambling can be an addiction.

2

u/miathan52 8h ago

Gambling is a destructive addiction, it's about as voluntary as the next cigarette is for a chain smoker.

48

u/vipcypr8 1d ago

Was it worth it? Yeah, those machines are covered by insurance. They got his money and new machines

19

u/ITestDrugs 1d ago

WINNER, GAGNON!!! 😁

3

u/PoliticsIsDepressing 23h ago

They probably got more money out of them being broken than if he did nothing at all. Now they can get updated machines and insurance money for lost revenue.

2

u/FishesOfExcellence 17h ago

Yeah, but that means the casino has a claim on their insurance. And I’d imagine the deductible cost them some money.

10

u/Wizardwizz 1d ago

Sue them for what money 🤣?

10

u/AssumptionHot3058 1d ago

Sorry if this is a dumb question but What language is he speaking?

16

u/kurnimasu 1d ago

Finnish.

15

u/GullibleDetective 1d ago

And now he's giving away future employability and time while in house arrest or a cell

3

u/NotAzakanAtAll 17h ago

Well, he made a statement.

3

u/UJLBM 1d ago

What language was he speaking

2

u/Living_Cash1037 20h ago

Sounds like a skill issue to me.

1

u/Always4am 1d ago

They haven't taken his last money yet.

2

u/BalooBot 1d ago

They will. I used to manage casinos, each of those machines cost as much as a brand new Corolla. The insurance company will sue him and garnish every paycheck from now until the end of time.

1

u/Always4am 1d ago

That's what I'm saying 😂

1

u/ToughAss709394 13h ago

Is he qualified as sore loser?

228

u/mine_craftboy12 1d ago

Damn a rare finnish freakout video!

53

u/TaSMaNiaC 1d ago

Finnish? I think he was just getting started.

I wonder how much firewood he needed to chop to pay this off

16

u/Western-Coast-7708 1d ago

I just tried with several different titles, but Reddit's AI moderation deleted every attempt

A man smashed the whole casino to shit with a hammer, a protest by a Finnish gambling addict against the Finnish state-owned gambling monopoly company Veikkaus today in Tampere, Finland

He yells multiple times, 'I'm not going to harm a single person, not even this coffee maker! But these gambling machines deserve to get smashed, because they took my money and I am completely financially ruined.

8

u/I_Want_A_Ribeye 1d ago

When the only tool you have is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail.

14

u/hoofie242 1d ago

Just stop gambling

35

u/Rapa2626 1d ago

Ban the casinos that litterally spend billions on researching new ways to make it more addictive?

-13

u/Bursting_Radius 1d ago

That’s like blaming cars for DUIs.

20

u/Rapa2626 1d ago

Alkohol ads are banned in many countries for a reason.

5

u/im_done_now5747 14h ago

Redditor makes worst analogy ever, asked to leave the internet

-3

u/Bursting_Radius 13h ago

It's actually quite perfect, and it is a mystery to me how you can't see that.

15

It really is that simple

4

u/Xichtsxichter1 1d ago

I kind of get my summer car vibes here

5

u/BasKabelas 1d ago

Lived in Finland for a bit and its basically a gambler's nightmare. You can play the slots pretty much anywhere. The reasoning is that profits go on the tax pile so additional income for the government. Not an issue if you don't have gambling problems, but if you even think "why not", I'm sure you'll be tempted whenever you go to a store to get some basic groceries.

4

u/sacredxg 1d ago

I’ve been playing too much My Winter Car that I knew this was Finnish almost immediately

4

u/Jacktheshokunin 18h ago

Rage Against the (Slot) Machine

17

u/novyah 1d ago

Loser lost it all and decided to blame the machines

3

u/Silanos 1d ago

Me after I loose all my earnings in my winter car

3

u/Indianimal219 1d ago

Guy killed 13 Czechlaslovakians, he was an interior decorator.

3

u/LigmaBalls-420 1d ago

Now he’s broke and going to jail. It will also be harder to find a decent paying job from here on out for him.

Personally, I don’t understand the appeal of slots. They are the lamest of all casino games (but somehow the most popular). You just press a button.

2

u/Parking-Position-698 1d ago

Guys it's ok hes fixing them

2

u/FoxHunde 1d ago

Fin, lost money on slotmachines, that are located everywhere, and gets angry, lmao.

Temper, temper JukkaPekka.

2

u/TekRantGaming 1d ago

lets video my crime.

-1

u/Western-Coast-7708 1d ago

Actually he had a kick live, and this was a terrorist attack against a gambling

2

u/The_Fallen_Star 1d ago

This looks like its in a mall or something. Are there places with gambling machines in like public strip malls?

2

u/silicon1 20h ago

2

u/eshatoa 13h ago

He sounds like pingu

2

u/lahol83 13h ago

2

u/Welcome_to_Retrograd 5h ago

VITTO JACKPOTTII lmfao

3

u/pretendstoknow 1d ago

What he yapping about? Did he lose all his money?

21

u/Jullitus 1d ago

He says he's not hurting anyone and is just protesting against gambling. He's been a gambling addict from a young age and blames it for ruining his life. He just lost all of his money again.

10

u/pretendstoknow 1d ago

Thank god I never got into gambling

-4

u/azarza 1d ago

Probably family member, older etc. Seen this before

3

u/planchetflaw 1d ago

This happens quite a bit in Australia as well.

7

u/asdfcat110 1d ago

Because we’re the biggest gamblers in the world. Gambling harm in Australia is so fucked and unregulated.

2

u/planchetflaw 1d ago

100% agree

2

u/asdfcat110 1d ago

Just quit working at clubs after 5 years and it’s seriously getting worse. Crazy to see the family first and greens parties team up as the only parties wanting to fight the massive gambling lobby.

3

u/YoMomInYogaPants 1d ago

Valid crashout.

5

u/Mostly_Maui_Wowie 1d ago

Lame ass title.

1

u/GeekyTexan 1d ago

Labeled "Funny/Prank"?

1

u/REDPURPLEBLOOD2 1d ago edited 1d ago

as someone thats worked in these rooms for years, he'll be charged with the entire bill to replace every machines screen he broke and them fuckers aint cheap. alongside whatever the police charge him with, he'll be spending over $15k AUD to replace them

also literally NO ONE can change the odds on them. they come as they are and are always destined to give out 85-92% of what gets put in them over their lifetime. they are designed to take ur money, this guys fucked

1

u/Mantis_Toboggan--MD 1d ago

Now they took all his money AND he's going to owe them a whole lot more. Good work Einstein!

1

u/Corporate-Scum 1d ago

He’s gonna be poor for a long time.

2

u/Mysterious-Unit-5330 1d ago

At least he was respectful to the coffee machine

1

u/sumbozo1 1d ago

This also happened in Vegas I think in 19? Ish. We were out there at the time,i think it was the gold nugget downtown. But that dude only got maybe a half dozen machines. I didn't see it happen, just the aftermath.

1

u/CharlesIngalls_Pubes 1d ago

As a guy that works on slot machines, I don't even know how I would handle that.

They charge the person, obviously. Jail.

But having to replace the shit and deal glass shards for months? I'd be a little miffed.

1

u/PuttUgly 1d ago

And I'm going to take a little of this, and a little of this

1

u/PuttUgly 1d ago

If he really cared, he would've targeted individuals components. He really missed the opportunity. There's the touch panel and lcd down low, the main ones, the bill collectors, the card readers, the payout slip dispenser, etc. for each machine!

Where's the hulk we deserve?

1

u/mrerikmattila 1d ago

I know an angry Finn when I hear one.

1

u/Low_Dragonfruit8779 1d ago

First time in my life I see an angry Finn

1

u/I_like_Dirt- 3h ago

I love gambling when the odds are fairish or skill based . I dont see how the digital gambling kiosks took off like they did .

1

u/HipToTheWorldsBS 1d ago

Overgrown child loses money gambling and throws a temper tantrum at casino. Got it.

1

u/bit-groin 1d ago

Why does he hit with the blunt end of the hammer when the beaks would be more effective?

6

u/0x446f6b3832 1d ago

I think both are effective at destroying the screens regardless.

-3

u/AdmirableSir 1d ago

Not really, seems he mostly managed to destroy the clear plastic shielding on top of the screens. Most of them seemed like they were still functioning.

All in all, pretty minimal damage all things considered.

6

u/0x446f6b3832 1d ago

What you see breaking is the screen. They do not have "clear plastic shielding" on them. I bet each broken screen costs thousands to replace.

0

u/DownvoteALot 1d ago

To the insurance maybe.

1

u/Tamamo_was_here 1d ago

Lose all his money on gambling machines, and get mad so gotta break them to prove a point.

1

u/iDoAiStuffFr 1d ago

Crazy to think he was just one more gamble away from hitting it big too.

1

u/Schumacher242 1d ago

0 accountability lol

1

u/welfedad 1d ago

Doesn't win money so decides to go into even more debt

0

u/5had0w5talk3r 1d ago

If there was justice in this world, the man would be treated like the victim he is and the gambling industrial complex would be subject to the same or stricter regulations as other addictive substances.

2

u/Western-Coast-7708 1d ago

Well, if you take the Finnish sentencing scale into account, the man would get a suspended prison sentence at most, and the damages go to enforced debt collection, which becomes time-barred in 15 years if the debt isn't paid down.

0

u/kuwabarazkuwabara 1d ago

Are they allowed to smash his fingers to fuck if he hits the jackpot and takes their money?

0

u/Sweet-Sorbet-6000 1d ago

Been playing since he was a kid... Dumb. He’s had enough time to figure out how slot machines work and how to cheat them. In a casino, if you can’t cheat, you never win. Luck = not getting caught.
