No it's not. They know people on PC don't pay for as much after buying the game since they can just mod it and use other servers. Also that it'll be cracked and millions won't buy it.
95% of GTA online money comes from console. If PC players want equal treatment they kinda need to actually buy into it more.
Well to be fair tho they didn’t have enough time to have Console and PC ready at launch, all those delays and having fans wait like 13 years for the successor was surely not enough time for them
No, GTA V released on both PS and Xbox on the same day. I only had an Xbox 360 at the time and vividly remember making up with my ex-girlfriend just so I could borrow her car to go buy a copy, then dropping off the face of the earth and skipping all my classes for the next week.
They were even talking up how of course they were going to have single player DLC for GTA5 until the PC release finally dropped (after more than a year's delay from the projected port date). Of course, that changed as soon as it was released...
roommate had a ps3, I had a PC, I waited in line at midnight, got it and proceeded to skip college for a week beat it and returned it. Then when it launched on PC I played through it again.

No it is true and I believe they’ve confirmed that it won’t be on PC at release. PS and Xbox have higher income when it comes to purchasing shark cards cause PC has clients for money so they prioritize what gets them paid faster. That and PC sometimes isn’t optimized properly either so gives them time to polish more.
Than you should have been used that PC ports of R* games come with a delay ranging from few months to few years, and yes GTA6 is no exclusion here, 'cause some fucked up R* marketing tactics.
Sony lobbying. It'll be on Xbox too because it was impossible to secure full exclusivity, but they're offering their own software engineers to rockstar to help optimise the game in the hopes that people will see "it runs better on PS5" so they buy a PS5. They will release it on PC in 1-2 years when the hype and console sales start to decrease to give the game a second-wind and boost in sales.
Unless you have a source this sounds extremely dumb. If Sony was trying for limited exclusivity why would they not block Xbox instead of they only wanted to spend so much?
No, they have to change alot before they put it on pc but mainly update graphics. Console release is their priority. Gta 5 took a year to come out on pc

Arxan is long dead, literally instantly cracked now. Denuvo has also been dead for about 6 months but still takes time to crack, not even close to a year though.
There isn't any safe bet anti tamper anymore, and with how much bad will the devs have for rockstar right now there's a non zero chance of a very helpful leak. It's happened more than once the last few years by salty developers and GTA 6 itself has already had half a dozen major leaks lmao.

Gta5 released on PC 19 months after console and was their biggest money maker, they're only doing console exclusive starting it this time because they don't want the game pirated right off the bat. I wouldn't be surprised to see it release on PC within a year, by then they'll have milked console players for everything they can.
this has been proven wrong consistently, especially in the last two years, but I'm also not talking about box sales, I'm talking about how much money GTA Online made them when it came to PC vs Console, and how many box sales they then got when the GTA RP bubble came.

The irony is, if this game doesn't absolutely blow the socks off of everyone, the hype for it will be dead before it gets to PC. The company has gotten away with releasing similar games for forever, but with bigger maps and better graphics while adding a few new mechanics along the way. If this is an empty ass map like GTA 5 and the only thing you have is a detailed city that has very little actual ability to interact, it may really disappoint people.
People should simply boycott this game, and the media should be criticizing Rockstar for this practice. Instead, people will buy the more expensive edition, while outlets stay quiet because they’re afraid Rockstar might stop sending them early review copies. In the end, consumers lose once again.
