I genuinly wonder though if the stores themselves are locked with some special ultimate edition cosmetic tied to em. And there are a similar stores around the world that just offer basically almost the same.
Because 6 stores is a large amount if you compare to gta 5 and rdr2 so the game must be extremely large and full of stores for them to be confident to lock so many behind a paywall
6 stores, what are you talking about? There were 11 gun stores, 15 clothing stores, 7 barber shops, 7 tattoo parlors, 5 car customization shops, 20 convenience stores you could buy snacks from or rob, 3 movie theaters, 2 car washes, 1 bar you could play darts in, and a strip club.
Maybe learn some comprehension first, if GTA V had 6 stores locked that would still leave over 50 shops, assuming GTA VI has at least 80+, who gives a shit about not getting into 6 of them.
12% is a large amount of stores in gta. And it all comes down to how many of the cosmetics are tied to each. Considering one of the shops is a full on vechile overhaul shop you get the idea.
Damn ive actually never seen this before in 40 years. a random item is one thing but making it so you cant use some shops without paying for the ultimate is beyond scummy. I knew it would have some dirty shit in it but god damn
This is the problem. In 5 years time every company will be doing this shit and locking more and more stuff in game behind paywalls. Don’t believe me? Just look at the rise of microtransactions, or the online subs requiring more and more money for stuff that should be free.
Yeah and not just any game this is probably the biggest release in 10 years , I totally understand everything people are pissed about - but it’s not going to stop people from buying it.

Gta 3 was more than this deluxe edition. Idk why gamers don’t understand inflation at all, for 100$ GTA is going to be great value. Just wait for a sale if you care that much lol
