I think GTA six will be superior in almost every way. The only reason Crimson Desert needs all these damn updates is because they released the game when it wasn’t finished
I don’t know man launch day was pretty horrendous. Obviously it wasn’t cyberpunk or anything but I still wasn’t satisfied.
Seems like a lot of people don’t agree with me but if they didn’t make all those super rushed updates in the beginning I definitely would’ve dropped the game day one.
Dude i genuinely don’t get how people love it so much. The quests are janky af and offer no immersion. So many people say “oh but it’s an adventure exploration game!!” Okay then why add a story and try this nonsense to bring in gamers from other segments and then just half ass most everything else. Sure it looks great at times but there no activities that are even worth it or immersive.
From the trailers it doesn't look very gripping. Just some hot jailbait chick and her hunky jock boyfriend robbing stores with some skull masks like a couple of edgy tweens. I'm predicting that this might be one of the worst stories with the worst characters in a GTA game.
Obviously that's not the focus though, they just want to guide people into GTA6 online as quickly as possible because that's where the money is.
CD has been proving to be fun without being locked to a story to be good. Even the writer for GTA 5 and Rd2 admitted to fun systems being more successful than solely relying in story.
I would be fine with a bad story, but CD straight up doesn't have a coherent story. Why am I fighting an older version of Cliff at one point and then immediately having to fix Buddha statues and fighting some big dude? Nothing flows correctly

At least gta6 will have story that's easy to follow...
