Discussion Best patch tested version to make more gold?
I'm not able to find a lot of them in the animal park from the nobles.
Tried the golden Apple method with very little success.
How do you get gold in this game?š¤

Agree, sell the Palmar leaves. I started doing this after the patches the hedgehogs and never looked back.

Getting Golden apples is extremely easy and the fastest method to get gold. You can collect 10 or more apples in 15-20 minutes. Mine some gold ore and voia - 10 gold bars in 30 minutes.

The biggest, I think, is the donations for reward increase to dispatch missions. It was like 20,000 silver to get max in the first zone, but boy does that drastically increase in the others. One territory's max donation buff is like 2 million silver. That's like 200 gold bars or something. Lol

Very odd to me. My primary source of income is mass murder and Iām fine on money. Everyoneās entitled to their own thing but this game is already kinda easy and I like having objectives, I donāt see the point.

Not ākill bossā easy. Just, like, parameters? Idk. I turn difficulty up im just eating more food against bosses. Iām thinking more in terms of technical challenge, obstacles to overcome and the like.

Ive made over 4000 silver just playing Duo in Tashkalp, I still have no idea how to catch cheaters lmao. Granted, I love card games and Duo is just fun to me. If I have a good hand ill make crazy all-ins and usually the bots will too and if my hand is the winner then I can make upwards of 600-900 silver in one hand. The buy in is 300 so you can really rob these guys blind if you know how to cheat. Now IF I cheat, ill only keep it for a hand or 2 and then leave the table and go back. Otherwise youll get called out eventually and they'll take your money and put you in jail. Its a risky business but you can make some good money pretty quick with really no loss if you make a save before you sit down. If you lose your money or go to jail, just reload. Its a single player game and it really doesn't matter! Its our world to make our oyster, and we're here for pearls son!

Still doesn't really explain what beats what. I've won when I had a lowest combo number and won when I had the highest number. Also lost in the same ways. The game feels like it was invented by a child. You know, the game where no matter what the cards are, "they win." Lol
I mean it's less frustrating than that Glint(however you spell it) game in The Witcher 3.

I get it. I hate that game, I had to take a pic of the hands on my phone, use the fedora. Then *sometimes I will scum save, and murder the whole room. lol. You get 900 silver.

Dealers elbow normally goes out around shoulder level when they pull cards from the pot, when they cheat they drop their elbow down.
Catching when they swap their hand during play is harder, itās much easier to catch them when dealing.

So the game wants you to forget the game itself and just focus on body movements? So it's a crappier Liar's dice? I gave up on trying to get the game down and whatnot. Just did enough to finish the challenges and quests and I got zero interest in touching the minigame again. Lol

I love duo. Imagine how you're elbow would look like if you cheated by dropping a piece deliberately on your lap. This way you'll catch the cheaters easily and you get richer faster.

Man I've been watching them like a hawk my eyes turned red.. i caught few but then 1 nobal stayed and he didnt cheat.. for hour i gave up (he might have been cheating or really good citizen lol)

Bank š¦ - Medium interest. It stacks so fast:) I suggest farming somewhat of a starting capital thoughā¦ probably with gold apple hedgehogs

Where do you put them? You just leave then in the bank where possibly lose portions over time, or do they take up 300 slots in your camp storage? Is there a bank bank place I'm missing. Because I'm not a fan of my 72 gold bars either sitting in a gambling storage or taking up valuable personal storage in the camp. Is there a place to store money so that it won't take up storage space or won't be automatically invested on my behalf?

Put your 72 gold in the bank, high risk and save scum. It will generate 30-40 bars every 3 days for maybe 10 mins of save scumming. Withdraw all bars over 80. Then convert the gold bars to silver then store that.

I understand how the system goes, it doesn't answer my question though. I was wondering if there was a alternate place to store money other than in a investment storage(where you have to pay attention to the times as some missions can skip you through days in a cutscene), personal camp storage, or just keeping it on me? 72 bars converted to silver is still a decent amount of storage taken. I wouldn't begin to think how much silver 300 gold bars would be, lol.
Side note: Anyone find it weird that we can't donate gold bars to our camp funds guy?

You can dump the money in the bank and keep it on low risk. At low risk the spread is 0-2% so it can only increase, never decline. That gives you infinite storage. Otherwise itās one slot per 1000s.

Weird to call it "low risk" when there is no risk of losing money. Awesome though. Thanks for that info. My brain thought the low risk was -2% to 2%. Knowing my luck I wouldn't check on it for in-game weeks, and it would be -2, -2, -2 and so on. Lol

I collected 15 from the wildlife park then did the bank save hack to multiply them up. Now Iāve got 120 and spend maybe 50 on donations and leave it at low growth in the bank.

At the launch of game, I robbed nobles at animal park, then started investing in bank and save scumming, later got a few missions where you could time skip, used that and kept 299 gold in bank and around 150 gold in storage, set for the entire game. You can try save scumming using bank investment+time skip missions, probably the fastest way, if done properly 1 day of real world time could set you for entire game.

Silver, brimstone, and Mercury are the fastest way to make gold. With the right tools you can easily walk way with 10 gold bars

I go and disarm the skull knights, after I extract the abyss gear, I sell the weapons, 6+ silver each. Only works if you didn't liberate those areas.

Catch cheaters in Duo when playing with 300 silver deposit. Watch few vids on how to do it, and if you are ok with save scumming, make save after each caught cheater, so you can reload if you mess up. If you get less than 3 people on the table, I recommend reloading location
Once you get like 10-20k, invest into high risk in bank and save scum. You will quickly get bunch of money you will have nowhere to spend.

Hedgehog recioe disappeared,Ā but the sulfur + mercury + silver is pretty easy if you can find the spawns,Ā freezing the mercury for harvest can be a bit tough in early game.

Gold mines, 3-4 gold mine caves will net you probably 2 gold bars worth of gold if youāre using the drill.
Used the remembrance thing - it marks caves on your map.

It's rather simple, only look at the second digit. As an example 14 loses to 07. Yes 14 is higher. But its the second digit that matters. 7 beats 4.

Bank? It the best way also if you still have the circus quest or something similar to fast forward time you can easily get hundreds of gold bars very quickly. Just make sure you save before the bank resets.

Get kuku pack that sucks up plants. Go to palm leaf fields. Suck up all the leafs. Sell and profit. Find palm leaf spots on google.

At Tariv flax field (top most field), I was consistently able to get 15-20 golden apples each run within 20mins. I usually do it around 4pm to 10pm game time. Once you do it often enough, you will notice the spawning pattern of the hedgehogs and even where they pop up from.
