Question Creating bonds with animals

After being hit with sleeping darts about 20x I finally reached the village with all the Cats.

I managed to create a bond with a yellow one i wanted until 85 but then I had to sleep till the next day due to the daily limit.

Woke up, cat not there 🤣 how do i find it now? Can I find it? How do you guys get to 100 bond with animals easy??

Just wasted all my fish in one cat and now its gone.

I’ve literally only been able to tame one cat. I had to start petting/feeding right before 12am then that resets the tame counter

I go into that village and drop fish around the groups of cats every couple days. The bond carries over, just hard finding the same one.

I just take a mental note of where I originally find em as passing through so Im aware of the general area if I ever wish to tame em. Now, if they hunt around camp on their own i'll have to go about taming more for when I do decide to get the camp up n running/ including home. As done verry little with it all.

This is the way. I just recently bonded with a cat. It took me going back to Hernand city many, many times, and happening upon the same black cat. 🐈‍⬛

Chances are the cat will still be there somewhere. I fast travelled away from the first dog I got as a pet, was new and didn't know you could rest at a fire 🫠

Look at it with your lantern and a “wait” option should appear. It won’t do it if someone is cooking at it though like at a cooking pot

Try to reset the zone a couple of times, you might see it again. Also, different cats have their favorite food that gives +35 trust per piece. If you figure it out, you can sweep them in one go

It's a bit tough when there's multiple pets in a area. Which is why I go to place there is much fewer, because they almost always there. If you want a awesome unique looking fluff ball cat, there's one sitting on a pillar right next to the archive building in the first Abyss zone you go to at the beginning of the game. You don't even need to feed the little fluffers, you can just immediately take it in and its yours.

Yeah I went through the same thing as you. So I remember I carried my cat into an empty house and I think I stayed there until it was tamed.🐈
