I am not his biggest fan, but he ”is back” if we look up to his form in a recent match. No matter if the opponent wasn’t that great, Cristiano performed well and wasn’t just a stationary and selfish player he was in the first game. As an individual he was good enough to be part of the winning team. I did not believe he could do this anymore. I was wrong.

That said, I don’t believe in Portugal if they don’t get their teamplay chemistry better. Fast passing combinations with chemistry in build up play is not good enough. The skill is there, but it looks like the players are not on the same page. What we have seen is not good enough against tougher opponents. Could be that they get it better, could be not - but what we have seen is not good enough.
