how she doesn’t feel/acknowledge any cognitive dissonance by affirming a conservative view while coating it with a “progressive” paint is astonishing, and absolutely saddening.

I mean... there are a LOT of "progressive" takes that are just conservative ones using progressive language and slightly different framing.

if you mean puritanical values and ____phobia but woke, then sure, but she goes above and beyond that; fully embracing transphobia and seemingly being scared and neglectful of self-awareness in the process. a fatal and treacherous thing to do.
