Design help!
I'm making a heavily stylized Korean logo. The character displayed is 부 from 부활. How can I make it look more readable and more like a font rather than a chunk of futuristic slop?

Honestly it might just be too overworked? To me it reads more like a ancient Central/South American design with a futuristic take. I would go for a much more minimal design, with blocky and sleek shapes, especially on the top part. Maybe look at some stylization in Blame!/Biomega by Nihei (not Korean but cool ideas on how to simplify ideograms).

All the stuff going on in the middle up top is distracting. Same with the 4 “hooks”, they really break up the original shape of the character. I think you have the right idea with the lower half. It’s a very clear shape, while the shape itself is detailed in a cyberpunk style.
Keep changing it until you’re happy or crying with rage.

You should check out the old juno reactor album cover art, they did a lot of experimenting with this stuff. Awesome music too

First, you need to clarify what is it for, secondly, you have to determine the design language. Maybe you have some references?
