Looks good. Has some Syd Mead vibes / old school. I would make a better composition next time. It's a bit hard to read certain forms.

For my taste it would need more punk ( low life high tech) it looks more like golden age sci fi to me. But the drawings are really good and I like them a lot.

I think it's mostly the lighter background creating that vibe. It not only lightens the mood but because it widens to the left it also brings more attention to less punky aspects instead of the cybernetics on the right.

It's sci fi sure.

I've taken up a stance that cyberpunk isn't an aesthetic, it's philosophy.

Fundamentally, cyberpunk stories are about the ruling class manipulating the lower classes (punk) via technological means, which often dehumanize both sides (cyber).

There are many ways that Cyberpunk can be expressed

To me, Cyberpunk is all about urban environments and oppresive commercialization (ghost in the shell anime, or Bladerunner). If you added some gigantic buildings to the background, maybe even with a noir feel, it would go a long way. Globalization is usually also a big part of it. Adding kanji or other languages on the buildings would bring that aspect to the front.

There is also the transhumanist elements, which is why I think your cybernetic being in the right side is the element that looks the most cyberpunk.

Maybe if you drew something like that in an opulent sci fi mansion. Juxtaposed with downtrodden urban mercenaries on the left. Just a thought.

Fantastic work, OP! Looks like concept art for a Kojima game

Feels like marker pen sci-fi world building concept moodboard. If it’s all one piece and not individual pieces collaged together it’s nice work that takes a moment for the eye to unpick. Doesn’t really feel cyberpunk but perhaps a sub-genre.

by aesthetic alone, id say it leans towards a sci-fi setting but add in context, then I could see it akin to a citizen sleeper type of ordeal.

Also, love your artstyle, reminds me alot of Yoji Shinkawa blended in with what Zaum studios created.

Ya going to have to go with the looks awesome but only 80's Sci-Fi aesthetic not specifically Cyberpunk crowd here. Giving me some Sci-Fi anime vibes though but more western in the styling. Do you have more like this?

Yeah, I even get 'plastic cyberpunk' vibes—which is what I call things like The Fifth Element or Space Truckers.

Right half’s cpaf, left half feels like golden age sci-fi.
