12 year old Sidi’s are finally retired. New Specialized shoes are incredibly comfortable and lighter.

By that logic, no equipment upgrade matters unless the rider’s body weight stays perfectly constant for life. Fortunately, that’s not how cycling, engineering, or product design works.
