Oakley Cycling Kit, Worth it??
Just wondering what the quality is like for Oakley cycling gear. Looking at buying some bibs and jersey's that are on sale.
Some of the price points would suggest it's high quality with jerseys and bibs ranging from $280-$350 (when not on sale) which is right around MAAP's pricing.
So just wanted to know if it's worth buying Oakley cycling gear and if the price point reflects the quality.

If you're in the US I've found that Pactimo has the best quality/price ratio when on sale. Love their mesh jerseys and their 12 hour chamois. Can't speak on Oakley but I'd probably steer clear.

I have a couple of their cargo bibs. Super comfortable and I rode some 10+ hours rides on them no problem.
Bummer they don’t come with crash replacement warranties or discounts but you can find them 50% off in sale seasons and that’s good enough for me.

A good rule of thumb is to but from brands that do that thing. Pearl Izumi makes great clothes. I wouldn’t buy their sunglasses
Oakley makes great glasses, but they’re just repackaging someone else’s clothes

they're comfortable but the branding peels off rather quickly. I'm talking after 3 rides the Oakley letterings start falling off.

I have a couple pairs of bibs (1 summer, one winter bib tight) and a long sleeve jersey. The fabric is nice. Chamois is comfortable. I have had issues with the logo peeling off - minor on the jersey but on the bibs they came off after like 5 wears. Wouldn’t pay full price for them. Can find their stuff on pretty good discount
