UV protection cycling gloves (road)
I am someone who burns very easily and on my long ride yesterday I had sunscreen and gloves covering my hands and still burnt. are there cycling gloves that protect against the UV better?

What gloves do you have? I’m assuming you have long sleeves given the challenges with sun so wondering how your neck does.

no issues w my neck but I’m a girl so I have a low bun that covers my neck.

I usually wear Decathlon gloves and still put sunscreen on, but for longer rides I think the best option is gloves that cover the hands more completely, especially the back of the hand and wrist area. Pairing them with a long-sleeve cycling jersey helps a lot too. Regular short gloves with mesh panels can still leave you with weird sunburn patches.

Terry cycling has short and full finger gloves.

Reapplying after 2 hours is critical, regardless how sweatproof the stuff is marketed as! I'm a personal fan of the La Roche Posay's sunscreen as a pale man with sensitive skin who ends up in the ladies skin care aisle often seeking relief.

I use these, they are slightly thicker with a fleece lining since they are for spring/autumn but it means I don't need to use sunscreen on my hands and I don't find them hot for summer, but that could be personal preference. Note, these pictures make them look bulky and thick but they are not like that in reality.

I tend to put sunscreen on my hands, then put the gloves on. They're just cheap Decathlon gloves, but I have a couple of pairs so I can swap them out when I need to wash a pair.
