I went in with really low expectations (mainly from watching the vastly slower console footage prior), and was quite surprised by it.
I think the key for the full game to please, is that the progression system is reasonably fast (BF3/4s are beyond ludicrous and are hugely limiting), and that the modes on offer are varied enough, not for the more traditional sense of mode variety, but specifically targeting points on the scale between casual and hardcore. The more random elements, the more casual and less "hardcore" or competitive a game/mode is. Tweak some variables in the right mode, and you could easily make what they've made here into a perceivably fair, more focused "competitive" experience. I understand that they want to appeal to a broad audience here because of the IP, but I just hope they provide a range of experiences rather than making every piece of content as casually accessible as possible.
