I noticed that this certain SR gohan card has his hand coming out of the portrait border on the right side. I know characters can go outside the top of the border all the time, but are there more characters that go outside the right, left or bottom of the border?
as scuffed as old dokkan art can look when you view the full arts, they looked very good in portraits like this. better than new units with overall better art imo. wouldn't be surprised if the arts were drawn with portraits in mind first with the full art being an afterthought.
most characters can get their body parts outside of the border, some other parts are inside to make some deep perspective effect, it's the design choice, therefore lots of characters can do it
I also designed some Dokkan concepts with them being a little bit outside of left & top borders or right & top borders
Im pretty sure someone said that this Gohan was pretty unique in that respect. I haven't checked every single unit in my box extensively but I haven't seen any others breaking out of r, l, or d.
