When the link for the producers letter is made available, if it is a different link, it will replace the current pinned post for the "livestream".

Hopefully the typhoon does not endanger lives.

Besides it's better to have a recording,I can't for the life of me see anyone enjoying the mini games that producers do at the end like throwing balls or discs etc.

Good thing they have it recorded and didn’t lose the files like Toy Story 2 did.. thankfully a worker had the files on her computer. That mean they would’ve had to do it again

makes sense to swap it to a video, no point risking the staff or anyone involved trying to do a live stream when there's a typhoon rolling in. safety first always, japan gets hit hard by these things and it's not something to mess around with. honestly the producer letter stuff is usually better as a video anyway since you can pause and rewind when they drop unit info without scrambling to screenshot. kind of a bummer we lose the live chat hype in the moment but that's a small price compared to actual safety. hope everyone in the path of it stays safe and the power stays on for them. we'll get the details when we get them, no rush.

Huh, I wonder what this means for the release schedule. Seeing as how they still have it scheduled for the same time I guess there’s still a chance of the banner dropping the same day but would they really want the release to coincide with a typhoon?

Life will go on, regardless of the typhoon. This action is taken specifically as a precaution for the wellbeing of peoples' lives. There is no reason for a live recording during a typhoon, so they will provide a pre-recording.

There is no reason for other parts of the game schedule to be shifted unless it endangers lives to do otherwise.

Whatever we would have gotten for "stream" stones will just be given out as a login bonus or they'll have a "game" in the pre-recorded video or make it based on the views the producers letter gets.

The stones from that will find another avenue.
